The guild also maintains contracts that extend into the mortal world, placing operatives in real-world military positions, a service that requires Striders or gate-marks.
The Mercenaries Guild works closely with the Merchants Guild to provide armed escort for caravans venturing into the Deadlands, other Domains, or through the Veil to the mortal world. Membership cuts across species lines. The guild recruits from the Coliseum's survivors and maintains a presence at the Dockyards for maritime contracts.
